The coming adventure, suspense, thriller, exciting but difficult task of Harry Potter begins on the 11th of July in the summer. The fans of Harry Potter have been waiting quite a long time now to watch the sixth sequel of Harry potter saga known as Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.
Lot of adventure and difficult tasks lay ahead of him in the upcoming movie. Every one is hoping and expecting from the makers of the movie to cover successfully all the major events and happenings in it. With the death of Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter is now left with another difficult mission that is to bring the downfall of Lord Voldemort. By doing so, he has to find the hidden parts of Tom Riddle’s soul that are called the “Horcruxes” in order to bring his downfall.
He has to fulfill this difficult and riveting task without the support or help of his most important protector Albus Dumbledore. None of us was familiar with the term Horcruxes before reading the sixth part of Harry Potter saga not Harry himself. When he started his meetings with Dumbledore, he showed him the memories of different people, based on Lord Voldemort.
It was about his life in childhood, orphanage and when finally he was visited by Dumbledore to join the Hogwarts School of witchcraft and wizardry. He showed Harry all the memories in the Pencieve and then the most sluggish memory came in which Voldemort was asking professor Slughorn’s (teacher in Hogwarts) about the a very dark stuff ‘Hocruxes’. He first hesitated to tell him about it but when due to the best records as a student he decided to tell him.
Slughorn told Voldemort that Horcruxes means to split up your soul in to pieces and transfer the soul into some non-living or living things. He further told Voldemort that you can split up your soul in to maximum seven parts but it is indeed a very painful act. After that, the memory ended.
Dumbledore’s utter belief was the Voldemort also divided his soul in seven parts to evade death. The first Horcrux was the Riddle’s Diary in the second part of Harry Potter saga (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets) which Harry successfully destroyed. Second part of his soul was the ring, which Dumbledore was wearing. It was cursed and was destroyed too.
In the intention of destroying the third part of his soul, which was in a locket, they went to the cave but the locket was not original and Harry came to know it after Dumbledore’s death, which went in vain. Now it’s up to Harry to find the rest of the Horcruxes in order to defeat voldemort and get the whole wizard world of him. All he has the memories and the will or courage to do it.
We should all hope that the movie of the sixth part would be as much thrilling and amazing as the novel had been and we should keep our fingers crossed for the Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince movie to reach the every pinnacle of success. When author Suzy Brownlee decided to write a book for children, she figured that featuring the images of her two daughters would be a different way to introduce readers to the characters. The book is aimed at 9-12 year olds, and Brownlee felt that photographic images on the cover of the book would be more attractive to the ‘tweenager’ market.
It was when a publishing friend suggested YouTube as a possible marketing vehicle that Brownlee realised her daughters might be able to help with more than just photographs.
“I didn’t want to do a traditional author interview - my book is for kids and kids don’t really want to see a writer waffling on - unless of course we are talking about someone phenomenally well known such as JK Rowling! So I approached a composer and asked him to write a song for my daughter Britta, who has always sung and is starting to make a name for herself in musicals.”
Using the lyrics Brownlee had written, composer John Bellamy created ‘Run’, which describes how the evil crime princess Natasha Commonov is determined to free her imprisoned father. Interestingly the film, shot by Steve Maccagnan of Moving Planet, uses Sydney for the London backdrop, because Brownlee’s daughters attend school there.
YouTube is fast becoming the place for small and large businesses to advertise, and the trick now is to create something creative enough to snare those sometimes elusive clicks.
Does ‘Run’ by Britta Brownlee do that? As one young mother, Andy Carlisle, said: “My two and five year old have watched it about 50 times. There’s something about the clapping at the beginning that mesmerises them.”
But the multi-million dollar question is, will it make her buy the book?
“Maybe? I’m certainly aware of it now. Plus I’ve emailed my friends the link. Whether I ultimately buy it will depend on how it looks in the bookstore.”

Nowadays, the one and only thing unifying the whole world is the upcoming movie of Harry Potter saga known as Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, which will hit the theaters in July 2009. This time people are even more desperate and eager to watch the movie because it has taken a long time to release other than its rest of the movies.
Important events have happened and described wonderfully in this part, so everyone is anxious to see how much the makers are successful in making the scenes of the new movie Harry Potter memorable for the audience. The readers of the Harry Potter saga are familiar with the term Death Eaters. They also know that their role was not prominent in the previous parts of the Harry potter series.
However, this time J.K Rowling has brought the suspense in the movie by starting the novel with a meeting of the Minister Of Magic with the Muggle’s (human’s) Minister and telling him about the strong position of Lord Voldemort. Then the scene changes in to the meeting of Severus Snape with Bellatrix and Narcissa, who are the aunt and mother of Draco Malfoy. Both of them are strong companion of Voldemort and part of his army (Death Eaters).
Snape offers comfort to both of the sisters by telling them that he would definitely help Draco on whatever task he is up to, on the Dark Lord Voldemort’s order. Snape is supposed to be a Death Eater and a close ally of Voldemort, where Dumbledore considers him his man and trusts him blindly.
Therefore, his position is very strong in this part, and by having such conversation with Bellatrix and Narcissa, he is proving himself a part of Voldemort’s army of Death Eaters. At last, Malfoy succeeds in giving Death Eaters an entrance in Hogwarts from the secret room of requirement, which was his task. Harry and Dumbledore are not present in Hogwarts as they are on a secret mission of finding Horcruxes (hidden parts of lord Voldemort’s soul). Their visit went dreadful and Dumbledore was badly injured.
When they apparate near the dimensions of Hogwarts, they see the dark mark, which are the mark the Death Eaters leave whenever they enters a building or murder someone. Harry takes Dumbledore to the tower where they have seen the mark and then suddenly Malfoy followed by Death Eaters after some time, comes in to scene. The Death Eaters include Romestra, Amicus, and Greyback. In order to save Harry from being killed or harmed at least, Dumbledore immobilises Harry by a spell.
Then Snape killed Dumbledore in front of everyone; Harry, Malfoy, and the Death Eaters. The Death Eaters with Severus Snape try to sneak away and then the actual fight begins between the Hogwardians and the Death Eaters. The Death Eaters spell many curses on students, teachers, and aurors and they too spell back.
Finally, Malfoy with his team succeeds in sneaking away. We can see the role of Death Eaters being made prominent in this part. It is due to them that the whole story takes a dramatic change. It is because no one had a minor doubt that whatever Malfoy is doing, is related to Death Eaters’ letting in to Hogwarts. Dumbledore is dead, and Harry is left alone, leaving the readers and audience to wait desperately that what will happen in the next part. This year sees the release of some long awaited movies, however those who have either seen or managed to get a sneak preview are already slamming some of them and categorising them as the most boring movies this year!
1. Top of the list appears to be Transformers Revenge of the Fallen: It’s somewhat surprising that people are saying that this is a boring film, however if you are not a Transformer ‘lover’ then it’s undoubtedly a boring film which many are considering has an very familiar ring to it.
2. Watchmen: This movie is an adaptation of Alan Moore’s novel of the same name. For some this movie is boring, especially if for those who were not a fan of the novel. Other viewers are criticising the movie to such an extent they are saying it should never have been made!
3. Angels and Demons: There are very mixed opinions on this movie. Many say that Tom Hanks has really pulled it off this time while others say it was as boring as The Da Vinci Code!
4. Terminator: Salvation: Well Terminator movies are a bit like Marmite, you either love them or loathe them! While many are keenly awaiting for the release of this movie there are those who would rather be eating Marmite on toast to relieve their boredom!
5. Race to Witch Mountain: Disney are releasing this film which like many Disney movies is the same story line re-jigged, in fact it’s a re-make of Escape to Witch Mountain, so yet another boring movie, unless you are about six years old!

9. Public Enemies: Michael Mann’s movie seems to be having more raves about the music than the film! The is one of the least criticised movies on the boring scale, that’s as long as you like gangster style movies!
10. Fast and Furious: Unless you are an avid Van Diesel fan this movie looks to be so boring that wild horses may have to drag you to the cinema to watch this ‘yet another boring van Diesel movie’!
